Shepparton United FNC and Terry Dillon Solutions – Strategic Club Workshop
Running a grassroots community club the size of ours can be extremely challenging, with often considerable pressure on the club and its volunteers.

With the unprecedented growth of teams we could become complacent, and risk things like volunteer burnout, which can ultimately lead to a drop in professionalism, performance, revenue, and all of the things we have come to love about our club. It can also be extremely damaging to our club culture.

Alternatively, we can seize the opportunity to take our club to the next level and secure our on and off field sustainability by being strategic, planning and getting everyone to contribute to building a strong club for the future.

This is why our club is taking this opportunity to facilitate immediate extended professional support for our club, via the assistance Terry Dillon Solutions.

This 3 hour session will be open to all members of our senior and junior clubs with the 3 key areas of the work-shop session being:

a. HEALTH ASSESSMENT – TDS health check – analysing 10 key areas of the club – identifying gaps and opportunities, succession planning & more

COMMITTEE STRUCTURE – working through the importance of having the right committee structure going forward as an amalgamated club, and agreeing on a model for the Shepparton United Football Netball Clubc. STRATEGIC PLAN ON 1 PAGE – covering the clubs vision, mission, values, 5 key long term strategic pillars (3-5 years), 5 operational short term pillars (12 months) and importantly setting some targets for both the short and long term objectives identified.

The work-shop session provides a very succinct 1 page “Road-map” for the committee to follow – keeping it simple.
